Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the government to support children from lower-income families or other eligible groups. This funding aims to ensure every child has equal opportunities to succeed, regardless of their background. It is allocated to pupils who are eligible for free school meals, have been eligible in the past six years, are in care, or have parents in the armed forces.

At our school, we use Pupil Premium funding to provide high quality first teaching, tailored interventions, additional resources and enrichment opportunities that support children’s academic progress and well-being. This might include small group or one-to-one support or extracurricular activities that build confidence and skills.

If you think your child may be eligible, we encourage you to register, even if they already receive free meals through the Infant Universal Free School Meals. By doing so, you’ll help the school access vital funding to enhance your child’s learning experience. Click on the image below or contact the school office to find out more.

Please see the policy page of our website for our Pupil Premium policy.
