The School Day
The school gates open at 8:30am for a compulsory, in class, start time of 8:40am. The children are greeted at their classroom doors by their classteacher who welcomes them before they start their learning.
The school day ends at 3:15pm when the children are dismissed from their classroom doors (year group doors for year 3 and 4).

Morning sessions typically focus on the core subjects of reading, writing and maths. Afternoon sessions are when non-core lessons are taught: art, history for example.
