Welcome to Our Parent Partnership Page
At our school, we believe that working together ensures the best outcomes for our children. Your partnership is vital, and we are here to support you every step of the way. If you ever have concerns or need guidance, please don’t hesitate to come and talk to us.
Family Support Officer
Mrs. Amy Davies is our dedicated Family Support Officer. She is available to support parents and carers with any concerns you may have. Mrs. Davies is in school from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, ready to listen, guide, and assist in any way she can.
Staying Connected
We use ClassDojo as our primary communication tool. Through ClassDojo, you will receive:
- Weekly updates on your child’s learning.
- Letters and important announcements.
- A messaging system to connect with staff.
In addition to ClassDojo, we send out a monthly newsletter packed with updates, upcoming events, and useful information.
Daily Opportunities to Connect
Our teachers are available at classroom doors at the end of each school day to answer any quick questions or discuss minor concerns. This is a wonderful opportunity to stay in touch with your child’s teacher and maintain an open line of communication.
Engaging with Your Child’s Education
We value your involvement and have structured opportunities for you to engage with your child’s learning:
- Parent Evenings: Twice a year, you will have individual appointments with your child’s teacher to discuss progress and next steps.
- End of Year Report: At the end of the academic year, you will receive a comprehensive summary of your child’s attainment and progress in all subjects.
- Assessment Outcomes: Three times a year, we share your child’s assessment outcomes along with identified targets to support their growth.
- The Great Exhibition: A highlight of our calendar, this event invites parents and carers to celebrate the incredible exhibits created by our students and participate in learning activities within the classrooms.
- Curriculum Information Sessions: These sessions focus on key aspects of your child’s education, such as phonics, SATs, and subject-specific topics.
- Half termly Curriculum Bulletins: These are sent home half termly to inform you about what your child will be learning.
Specialist Support and Community
- SEND Coffee Mornings: Regular opportunities for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities to meet with our SENDCo and other parents for support and discussion.
- Family Support Officer Coffee Mornings: These sessions often feature guest speakers from external agencies such as school nurses or mental health support teams (MHST), offering valuable resources and insights for parents.
Home-School Agreement
Our Home-School Agreement outlines the shared responsibilities of parents, carers, staff, and students in creating a supportive and effective learning environment. By working together, we ensure the best outcomes for every child.
