School Uniform

All children are expected to wear uniform.

  • Navy jumper / cardigan (logoed or non-logoed)
  • Black, navy or grey trousers / tailored shorts / skirts / dresses (cycling shorts and sports shorts are not acceptable as part of normal uniform)
  • Sky blue polo shirt
  • Black, grey, navy or white socks / tights
  • Black, closed toed school shoes (smart, plain black trainers are acceptable - no bright or noticeable branding)
  • Navy / blue gingham summer dresses

PE Kit

  • Navy hoody / zipped top (logoed or non-logoed) If non-logoed, this must be completely plain.  Alternatively, they may wear their normal school jumper.
  • Black tracksuit bottoms or leggings / sports shorts (these must be plain - no obvious branding)
  • House coloured t-shirt (branded with house team or plain coloured). House branded ones will be available from a supplier to be shared soon. Plain, black trainers.

The aim is not only to ensure all children are dressed smartly and in uniform, but to also promote sport and competitive sport in PE sessions.

When commercial branded items are worn instead of uniform in schools, it can lead to peer pressure and parental pressure to wear / purchase these expensive brands. This is alleviated by school uniform.
